Not into loud discos? Need a break from the crowds? Want a place where you can just sit, relax, enjoy a beverage or two and some conversation?
From Thursday night to Saturday night (and many Sundays in some clubs), Medellin is a party town. The discos are jammed, wall to wall with local paisas. The music is generally loud. So loud you can barely hear yourself speak.
Although the Medellin Discos can be fun, every now and then you just need a break. There are a number of clubs where you can go, listen to softer music, maybe some salsa, soft crossover, jazz, top hits from the 80's and 90's and even classical Rock. You can also eat (in many) drink, enjoy a conversation with friends and generally enjoy a night of socializing in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Dining in a restaurant, spending an evening in a club, going to a late night disco with friends is the way of nightlife in Medellin. It is the Paisa way of life!
