By Taxi:
One Way Taxi Fare is about 50,000 Colombian Pesos U.S.$25.
It is a forty five minute ride to the city on a very scenic and mostly well lit roadway. There are occasional rock slides and accidents so give yourself extra time for the trip.  Slow moving trucks can also delay traffic.

Frequent mini buses operate from the airport to the corner of Carrera 50A and Calle 53 in El Centro. Not advised at night time. U.S.$2. Trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
Airport Departure Tax is $28.00 USD (or equivalent in Pesos) without exemption, for stays up to 2 months. Many airlines include this tax in their ticket prices.
U.S.$46 for longer periods.(or equivalent in Pesos)with exemption.
Domestic Departure Tax U.S.$5. Payable in pesos or dollars.
Credit cards not accepted. You may not mix pesos and dollars.  One or the other.
